In-Person Therapy in Scarsdale, NY | Virtual Therapy in New York

A compassionate, trauma-informed approach for children, adolescents, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, eating disorders, trauma, and substance use in Scarsdale, NY and throughout Westchester County.

Hi, I’m Jennifer.

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and trauma-informed therapist providing therapy for children (ages 5+), adolescents, teens, and adults in Scarsdale, NY and across Westchester County.

I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, eating disorders, trauma, and substance use, helping clients understand not just what they’re experiencing, but why.

Many of the clients I support feel overwhelmed by their emotions, stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand, or unsure how to move forward. Whether it’s persistent anxiety, the weight of depression, grief after a loss, or challenges with food or substance use, these experiences can feel isolating.

You don’t have to navigate them alone.

Who I Support

As a child and adolescent therapist in Westchester County, I work with:

  • Children ages 5 and up navigating emotional and behavioral challenges

  • Adolescents and teens experiencing anxiety, depression, identity stress, or school-related concerns

  • Adults feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnecte

  • Individuals working through trauma, grief, eating disorders, or substance use

Clients often come to therapy feeling:

  • Anxious, overwhelmed, or constantly on edge

  • Depressed, unmotivated, or emotionally drained

  • Impacted by grief, loss, or major life transitions

  • Struggling with an eating disorder or relationship with food

  • Navigating substance use or recovery

  • Unsure how to regulate emotions or move forward

As a trauma-informed therapist, I specialize in:

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Trauma and PTSD

  • Eating disorders

  • Grief and loss

  • Substance use

Together, we work to understand the root of these challenges while building healthier, more sustainable ways of coping.

How I Work

I believe therapy should feel collaborative, supportive, and tailored to your unique needs.

My approach integrates evidence-based treatments, including:

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

As a trauma-informed therapist in Westchester County, I work with you to:

  • Building coping skills for anxiety and depression

  • Processing past experiences in a safe and supportive way

  • Navigating grief with compassion

  • Developing a healthier relationship with food and your body

  • Strengthening emotional awareness and regulation

  • Increasing resilience and confidence

My goal is to help you feel more grounded, supported, and capable of navigating life’s challenges.

What Clients Often Notice

Over time, many clients begin to experience:

  • Reduced anxiety and emotional overwhelm

  • Improved mood and emotional balance

  • Healthier coping strategies

  • Greater clarity and self-understanding

  • Increased resilience and confidence

  • A stronger sense of stability and direction

As a trauma-informed therapist in Scarsdale, NY, I approach therapy with the understanding that your experiences have shaped how you think, feel, and respond.

Instead of asking “What’s wrong with you?”, we explore “What happened to you?”

I provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change at your own pace.
