Trauma Therapist in Scarsdale, NY and Virtual Therapy Across New York
for Teens, Adults, and Couples
Trauma-informed therapy that helps you understand your patterns and create real change.
If you’re feeling stuck in cycles of anxiety, burnout, or unhealthy coping, there’s usually a deeper reason, not a personal failure.

I provide trauma therapy in Scarsdale, NY and virtual therapy across New York, specializing in working with individuals and couples navigating trauma, addiction, shame, and emotional disconnection. Many of my clients appear high-functioning on the outside but internally feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of who they are beneath the pressure.
My goal is to help you move from surviving patterns to intentional, aligned living.

Many of the people I work with are tired of repeating the same cycles and are ready for something deeper than surface-level coping.
Trauma Therapy in Scarsdale NY
As a trauma therapist with experience in addiction treatment, I understand that coping patterns develop for a reason.

Substance use, avoidance, perfectionism, or overworking are often ways to manage overwhelm. They may help short-term, but over time can keep you feeling stuck.

In therapy, we focus on:
-
Understanding the roots of trauma and patterns
-
Reducing shame and self-judgment
-
Building healthier, sustainable coping strategies
-
Strengthening your sense of identity and direction

This work is about helping you feel more in control of your life, not controlled by your patterns.
How I Work
I take an active, collaborative approach to therapy.

I’m not a therapist who simply listens without offering direction. I believe effective therapy includes:

-
Honest, direct feedback
-
Insight into patterns you may not yet see
-
Gentle challenge alongside strong support
-
A real, human connection

My work is grounded in evidence-based, trauma-informed therapy, including:

-
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
-
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
-
Mindfulness and emotional regulation strategies
-
Gottman Method couples therapy

Together, we explore how your thoughts, emotions, and past experiences shape your current behaviors, and begin shifting those patterns in ways that actually work for your life.
What We Work On
In our work together, you can expect support with:

-
Trauma processing and emotional healing
-
Breaking cycles of addiction, avoidance, or self-sabotage
-
Managing anxiety, burnout, and overwhelm
-
Building healthy boundaries and self-trust
-
Strengthening your sense of identity and direction
-
Improving communication and relationship patterns
-
Developing emotional awareness and regulation skills

This is not about becoming perfect. It is about becoming more aware, more grounded, and more aligned.
