Annabella Lipson is a student-intern from Mercy College. Annabella has completed 51 out of 60 credits toward her Mental Health Counseling degree.
Annabella extensive experience as as a counselor at Yonkers Middle High School working with 11th and 12th graders.
She enjoys working with children and teens who are dealing with stress, anxiety, college transitions, and other behavioral challenges.
Annabella incorporates a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness practices with her clients.

All therapists, just like doctors, must commit to an enormous amount of clinician training before receiving their licensed to practice independently. At Peaceful Living MHC, we support those dedicated, hardworking students who are joining the field of mental health counseling.
Annabella is currently enrolled as a student at Mercy College, working toward her Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling. As part of her learning, Annabella is being supervised on her work with her clients.

Annabella has worked extensively with counseling 11th and 12th grade students in the education system at Yonkers Middle High School. She has experience helping students deal with the feelings and experiences that come along with transitioning from high school to college.
