Education, Licensure, and Advanced Training
Annabella Lipson is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, LMHC, in New York State.
​
She earned her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Mercy College, where she developed a strong foundation in trauma-informed, evidence-based care.
​
She is an EMDR Certified Therapist through EMDRIA, reflecting advanced training in EMDR therapy for trauma, anxiety, and complex PTSD. Certification includes completion of EMDRIA-approved Levels 1 and 2 Basic Training, extensive clinical EMDR experience, and ongoing consultation to ensure clients receive safe, effective, and ethical trauma treatment.

Annabella is also Level 1 trained in Internal Family Systems, IFS, through the IFS Institute. She integrates IFS into her trauma therapy work to support deeper emotional healing and lasting change, and continues consultation to maintain best practices.
