What is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness is a type of therapy that focuses on increasing one's awareness and ability to be in the moment.  

 

Practiced through meditation, mindfulness exercises can help you become aware of your negative, self-critical thoughts. Moreover, mindfulness can increase your optimism, boost your mood and improve your self-image.
