CBT Therapy, Couples Therapy, and Addiction Support for Teens, Adults, and Couples
In-Person and Virtual Sessions in Scarsdale, New York
Evidence-based therapy rooted in authenticity and growth, because therapy should feel human.
I work with individuals ages 12 and up, as well as couples, drawing from Gottman training and other evidence-based approaches to help clients create meaningful, lasting change.
Clients often come to me feeling stuck in addiction, shame-spiraling, burnout, or hopeless. They may look like they’re holding it together on the outside while privately feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of who they are underneath the pressure.
I’m not a therapist who sits back, nods endlessly, and offers no real perspective. I’m human first, and I believe authenticity matters. I laugh when something is genuinely funny, and I’m supportive, but not a pushover; I’ll tell you what I notice, offer honest feedback without sugarcoating it, and gently challenge the patterns that are no longer
serving you.
My goal is to help you feel seen, supported, safe, and empowered to make changes that actually fit your life. At the core of my work is helping you build awareness of self.
When we understand our values, we’re better able to create a life, relationships, and routines that support our wants and needs.
Who I Support
I work with:
-
Individuals ages 12 and up
-
Couples seeking stronger communication, connection, and repair
-
Clients struggling with addiction or unhealthy coping patterns
-
People caught in shame, self-criticism, or hopelessness
-
People-pleasers who have difficulty setting and maintaining boundaries
-
Individuals who feel disconnected from themselves, their needs, or their sense of
identity -
Perfectionists that live in constant anxiety and self-doubt

Many of the people I work with are tired of repeating the same patterns. They want healthier boundaries, more self-trust, stronger relationships, and a clearer sense of who they are.
How I Work
I’m not a one-size-fits-all therapist who’s endlessly reflective with no perspective. I see therapy as a collaborative partnership. Together, we identify what’s getting in the way, clarify what matters most to you, and create practical goals for change.
My work is grounded in evidence-based strategies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and Gottman-informed work with couples. I believe our thoughts, emotions, and beliefs shape the way we behave, and by understanding those patterns more deeply, we can begin to shift them.
In our work together, we may focus on helping you:
-
Create and stick with healthier boundaries
-
Make meaning from losses, disappointments, and failures
-
Build a stronger sense of self and identity
-
Reduce unwanted thoughts and behaviors
-
Improve emotional awareness and regulation
-
Break cycles of shame, avoidance, or self-sabotage
-
Strengthen communication and connection in relationships
I bring warmth, honesty, and directness into the room. That means I’ll support you, but I’ll also challenge you when needed, in a way that feels like helpful feedback rather than criticism. Therapy with me is not about perfection. It’s about becoming more aware, more aligned, and more capable of living in a way that reflects who you truly are.
What Clients Often Notice
Clients often notice that I’m genuine, engaged, and easy to connect with. They feel supported but also appreciate that I won’t dance around the scary stuff.
After a few sessions, you may begin to notice:
-
More clarity about their patterns, values, and needs
-
Stronger boundaries and less people-pleasing
-
Reduced shame and self-defeating behaviors
-
Greater confidence in making decisions
-
A deeper sense of identity and self-understanding
-
Healthier coping strategies and improved emotional regulation
-
More honest, effective communication in their relationships

Above all, you’ll leave therapy feeling like you have a space where you can be fully human, challenged with care, and supported as you grow.
