Eating Disorder Therapist in Westchester, NY
EMDR Trained Therapist
Westchester, NY (In-person & Virtual)
You Deserve to Feel Safe in Your Body and at Peace in Your Mind.
If you are searching for a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Eating Disorders Specialist in Westchester, NY, I work with children, teens, and adults who are struggling with anxiety, eating disorders, behavioral challenges, life transitions, and trauma.

I am passionate about helping my clients feel understood, supported, and empowered. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stuck in patterns with food, or impacted by past experiences, my goal is to help you build insight, develop effective coping strategies, and move toward meaningful change.

So often, struggles with anxiety, food, or self-esteem are not about what is wrong with you, but about what you have experienced.
Who I Support
I work with:

-
Individuals struggling with body image, low self-esteem, or disordered eating

-
Clients working through trauma and its lasting impact

-
Those seeking practical tools to manage anxiety and improve daily functioning

I have advanced, specialized training in treating many forms of eating disorders, including:

-
Anorexia
-
Bulimia
-
Orthorexia
-
Binge Eating Disorder
-
ARFID (Avoidant and Restrictive Food Intake Disorder)
-
Other specified and unspecified feeding and eating disorders

If food feels stressful, overwhelming, or tied to shame, control, or anxiety, there is often more beneath the surface.

How I Work
My approach is collaborative, supportive, and trauma-informed. I focus on understanding what has shaped your experiences and how those experiences continue to influence your relationship with food, your body, and yourself.
I use humor and honesty to help you feel heard, validated, and safe enough to explore the barriers that may be keeping you stuck. Our work together is designed to gently move through those barriers so you can live a more true-to-self life.

In our work together, we may:
-
Explore how past experiences are influencing current patterns
-
Identify core beliefs that developed over time
-
Build coping skills that reduce anxiety and increase confidence
-
Strengthen emotional regulation and distress tolerance
-
Work toward a healthier, more peaceful relationship with food and your body
-
Process difficult memories in a safe and structured way

I integrate evidence-based approaches tailored to your needs, including:
-
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)

If you are recovering from an eating disorder, I also collaborate with treatment teams when appropriate to ensure you receive comprehensive and coordinated care.

My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported at a pace that feels right for you.
