Trauma-Informed Therapist in Westchester NY for Teens, Young Adults, and Parents

In-Person Therapy in Scarsdale and Virtual Therapy in New York and Florida

You Deserve Support That Helps You Feel More Like Yourself Again

If you are searching for a trauma-informed therapist in Westchester, NY, I specialize in working with teens, college students, young adults, and parents who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally burned out.

I work with clients ages 13 and up (and am open to working with 12-year-olds depending on the situation) who may be struggling with anxiety, intense emotions, trauma, life transitions, or the pressure of trying to keep everything together.

Many of the people I work with look like they are managing well on the outside, but internally feel exhausted, anxious, or stuck in patterns they cannot seem to change.

My goal is to help you understand what is driving these patterns so you can feel more grounded, more confident, and more in control of your life again.

If you are a parent feeling overwhelmed or a mom experiencing burnout, you are not alone. Therapy can help you reconnect with yourself while learning practical tools to navigate the challenges of parenting and daily life.

Who I Support

I specialize in helping:

  • Teens and adolescents (ages 12–19) navigating anxiety, emotional stress, and identity development

  • College students adjusting to independence, academic pressure, and life transitions

  • Young adults dealing with anxiety, relationships, career stress, or past trauma

  • Parents and caregivers experiencing overwhelm, parenting stress, or emotional burnout

  • Mothers experiencing burnout who feel depleted, overstimulated, or disconnected from themselves

Many of my clients come to therapy because they feel:

  • Constantly anxious or overwhelmed

  • Emotionally exhausted from overthinking or people-pleasing

  • Stuck in unhealthy patterns or relationships

  • Impacted by past experiences or trauma

  • Burned out from trying to hold everything together

Therapy can help you develop the tools and insight needed to create meaningful and lasting change.

How I Work

My approach to therapy is warm, structured, and trauma-informed. I focus on helping clients understand how past experiences, stress, and nervous system patterns impact their emotions and behaviors today.

In our work together, I help clients develop:

  • Healthy communication skills

  • Emotional regulation tools

  • Stress and anxiety management strategies

  • Greater self-awareness and insight

  • Confidence navigating relationships and life decisions

I use evidence-based therapies including:

As an EMDR Certified Therapist, I regularly use EMDR therapy to help clients process trauma, reduce anxiety, and create lasting emotional relief.

My office is designed to be a safe, warm, and nonjudgmental environment where therapy can feel both supportive and productive.

What Clients Often Notice

Clients often share that through our work together they begin to experience:

  • Less overwhelm and anxiety

  • Improved emotional regulation

  • Greater confidence and self-trust

  • Healthier communication in relationships

  • Relief from trauma-related triggers

  • A stronger sense of balance in their daily lives

Therapy is not about changing who you are. It is about strengthening the tools and support systems that help you thrive.
