If you are searching for a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Sports Therapist in Westchester, NY, I specialize in sports psychology and trauma-informed counseling to help kids, teens, adults, and athletes overcome anger, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and stress.

I love working with children, adolescents, and athletes to help them feel truly seen and understood while teaching them invaluable coping skills that support long-term growth.

  • Feeling stuck between dwelling on the past and worrying about the future

  • Struggling with constant negative thoughts or debilitating anxiety

  • Having difficulty concentrating or staying focused

  • Experiencing flashbacks, nightmares, or intrusive thoughts

  • Feeling that depression or anxiety is interfering with social, academic, or athletic performance

If this sounds familiar, you are in the right place.

How I Work

My approach is trauma-informed, structured, and rooted in evidence-based care. I focus on helping clients build emotional regulation skills, increase focus, and process unresolved experiences that may be affecting their present life.

I help kids, adults, and athletes:

  • Learn to manage anger in healthy, productive ways

  • Strengthen communication and relationships

  • Improve focus and concentration

  • Overcome flashbacks, nightmares, and intrusive thoughts

  • Heal from unresolved childhood trauma

  • Regain confidence socially, academically, and athletically

I integrate a combination of evidence-based therapies tailored to each client’s needs, including:

As an EMDR trained therapist and DBT certified clinician, I prioritize both emotional safety and measurable progress.

My goal is to help you feel focused, empowered, and capable again.

What Clients Often Notice

Clients and families often share that they notice:

  • Reduced anger outbursts and emotional reactivity

  • Improved focus in school, work, or athletics

  • Greater emotional awareness and regulation

  • Stronger communication skills

  • Fewer trauma-related symptoms

  • Increased confidence and motivation

Healing is not about eliminating pressure or stress. It is about building the skills and resilience to move through it successfully.
